My professional journey began with a
commitment to understanding people and
helping them navigate the challenges
that shape their lives. Counseling gave
me the opportunity to see firsthand
how emotional wellness influences
relationships, decisions, performance,
and the way we experience success.
Over time, that work expanded beyond
the counseling room. I began building
programs, developing services, leading
teams, and working with organizations
that wanted to make a meaningful
difference in the communities they served.
What started as a commitment to
individual well-being grew into a
broader understanding of how
leadership, organizational culture,
and access to support
shape outcomes for entire communities.
Higher education became another
important part of that journey.
Working with students, teaching
future counselors, and leading
mental health initiatives reinforced
something I've believed for years:
people are more likely to thrive
when the systems around them are
designed to support their success.
Student achievement isn't just about
what happens in the classroom.
It's also about the people,
resources, and relationships
that make persistence possible.
Entrepreneurship has given me another
perspective. Building businesses,
developing clinical services, and
creating resources for other
professionals have taught me
the importance of combining vision
with practical execution.
A good idea is only the beginning.
Sustainable success requires
thoughtful planning, strong
relationships, and the willingness
to adapt.
Today, my work brings those
experiences together through
counseling, consulting, speaking,
education, and mentorship.
The settings may be different,
but the foundation remains the same:
understand the people,
recognize the possibilities,
and create a meaningful path forward.
The most meaningful progress
happens when people feel seen,
supported, and equipped
to move forward.
